Camp Helen State Park

Camp Helen State Park is a natural preserve featuring a rare coastal dune lake, biking and hiking trails, and more, and it’s also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Home to one of the largest coastal dune lakes in the state, Camp Helen State Park offers opportunities for beachcombing, hiking, swimming, fishing, wildlife viewing, and more. This 180-acre park is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico and coastal dune Lake Powell. Paddleboard the lake or explore the trails throughout the park.

This park also features historic sites, a picnic pavilion, visitor center, and more.
