Pristine Parks and Trails

Panama City Beach brings nature to life with parks and trails for the entire family to enjoy.

  • Frank Brown Park features more than two-hundred acres of park land that is dedicated to outdoor recreation facilities at neighborhood and community parks surrounding the beaches. The playgrounds, picnic areas, saltwater fishing pier, freshwater youth fishing lake, greenways and trails are open to the public year round.

  • St. Andrews Park is well known for its sugar white sands and emerald green waters with one-and-a-half miles of beaches on the Gulf of Mexico and Grand Lagoon. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, & canoeing. Two fishing piers, a jetty, and a boat ramp provide ample fishing. Nature trails wind through a rich diversity of coastal plant communities - a splendid opportunity for bird-watching.

  • The Econfina Creek is one of the most outstanding waterways in the state. With most of its banks under public ownership, paddling down the creek is truly a wild experience, with few signs of human habitation and an abundance of wildlife and native vegetation. Visitors can enjoy a paddle trip or foot trip on the Florida National Scenic Trail which follows the creek banks crossing it twice on handmade footbridges.
